What We Do

At Open Doors for Multicultural Families (ODMF), we transform the way disability services intersect with culture, race, and inclusion. As a pioneering organization, we work at the center of ableism and racism to build accessible, culturally responsive systems that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.

A group of ten people, including one person in a wheelchair, pose together in a marble hallway with bright lighting and decorative ceiling fixtures. Most are standing close and smiling at the camera.
Three people are in a decorated room with a colorful mat and chairs. One person is seated and trying on a shoe, another is kneeling by a box, and a third person is standing nearby. There are balloons and wall art in the background.

From personalized case management to innovative advocacy programs, ODMF ensures families have the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to thrive. With a commitment to lifelong support, we help families navigate complex systems, break down barriers, and create opportunities for growth, resilience, and success.

Together, we’re reimagining equity, celebrating the whole person and amplifying the voices of communities that deserve to be heard.
