Cultural Navigators

Community Parent Resource Center

We connect families to staff who share their language and culture. Staff serve as a bridge between families and systems that can provide support. These systems include Special Education, Developmental Disabilities Administration, and transportation.

Cultural navigation for families to help them connect to services, including the Special Education system

Who is this program for?

  • Individuals with disabilities who are 0-26 years old and their families
  • King County residents

What can you expect from Cultural Navigators?

Our staff will meet with families to learn what support families need and connect them to services. Our staff meet with families 1:1 to provide information, plan for meetings, and to help fill out applications. They can also accompany families to meetings, such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) Meeting.

Thank you to our program partners!
