Kent, WA - September 8, 2024 – Open Doors for Multicultural Families (ODMF) is excited to announce the return of "All Together Outside" event, a day dedicated to bringing together individuals with disabilities and their families for a vibrant, inclusive outdoor experience at Lake Sammamish State Park. The event will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2024, offering a day full of adaptive outdoor activities, cultural engagement, and community building.
“We are excited to invite the individuals and families we serve to participate in a day where they can forget what society has told them they can’t do, but instead celebrate what they can do when we work to remove barriers”, Ginger Kwan, Founder and Executive Director of Open Doors for Multicultural Families.
For 15 years, ODMF has been a cornerstone in King County, providing culturally and linguistically responsive services to individuals and families impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities. The "All Together Outside" event aligns with our mission to create spaces where every individual can feel a sense of belonging, and enjoy accessible opportunities in the great outdoors.
This event is made possible through our partnership with Outdoors for All, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities through outdoor recreation.
