Kickstart

In Kickstart, youth have a cohort of friends for peer engagement, mentoring and tutoring. Along with social emotional learning, participants develop self-advocacy, future planning, and job readiness skills.

Who is this program for?

  • 6th -12th graders
  • King County residents

What can you expect from Kickstart?

Kickstart runs year round with quarterly enrollment. Each quarter focuses on a distinct set of skills, including: independent living, self-advocacy, and job readiness. Sessions are held in a mix of in-person and virtual settings.
